Framework for efficient dynamic analysis applied to a tubular generator for suspension applications

This paper considers a slotless three-phase tubular permanent magnet generator located in an automotive suspension system for the application of vibration energy harvesting. A two-dimensional finite element method model harvester is produced and experimental setup that contains constructed. Signal decomposition methods are applied to measured displacement data resulting signal components used as input model. Two approaches discussed, namely, discrete Fourier transform continuous wavelet transform. The individual emf responses reconstructed single output, while sideband prediction algorithm accounts non-linearities system. simulation results compared with reference measurements conducted on determine accuracy each methods.
